Farm Partnerships
When we began our coffee journey, we knew right away that we wanted to support female African coffee farmers. Why? Because according to research, overall, women earn less income, own less land, control fewer assets, have less access to credit and market information, have greater difficulty obtaining inputs, and receive fewer training and leadership opportunities than men.
That’s why we’re passionate & committed to investing in coffee-related assets of the Nigerian coffee farms where our beans are sourced. These women have demonstrated that they financially reinvest in their farming equipment and land. And with the assistance of NGOs and international agencies, many of them are building schools, clinics, and training facilities in their communities to help improve the lives of their workers and their families.
Coffee for a brighter future

Our project continues to thrive thanks to the productive collaboration between Kingdom Coffee and the local partners.
This deep connection has resulted not only in an unmatched quality of coffee - it has also made a significant impact on the lives of those involved.
Isioma, a coffee farmer, saw his dreams come true thanks to this partnership. With the earnings from the sale of his coffee, roasted by Kingdom, Isioma managed to build a new home for his family and enrol his son in university, thus opening the door to a promising future.
Our Holistic Approach
We base our work on the realities of smallholder coffee farming families with all their complexities. Therefore, we do not only focus on improving one aspect but we work holistically, considering family businesses, farmer organizations, climate change, youth, and gender.

Grower Testimonial

''Our life has transformed – our farm work, our standard of living, our relationship, and our family life. Before we joined the CAFE project, we did all farm work traditionally and at a quite low yield. Through the training in the project, we learned about professional coffee farming and how to sell our product in the market. We also learned about gender equality. There is a huge difference between our past life and now. In the past, my husband did not allow me to go out and expected me to handle all household chores. Because of this, there was no peace and love in our home. Now we do both the field and the household work together, spend much more time together, and discuss everything.''
